Our history begins with a combination of ideas with the academic environment, qualified professionals, and market needs, which began around 2012, when a partnership was built with universities, research centers and the federal government. From these exchanges of information we developed a pilot plant on a laboratory scale. With this group, we studied and mastered the technology of TPU synthesis by reactive extrusion.
In 2014, we started building a plant on an industrial scale, based on the knowledge acquired to produce TPU-based nanocomposites. We are very proud, because it is the first plant in the country to be developed with 100% Brazilian technology, something unprecedented in a market so dependent on foreign technology.
Then, on November 16, 2016, Mantoflex was inaugurated and, since its foundation, it has been dedicated to creating technological and sustainable solutions to meet industry demands and market trends. And so, already in 2018, we launched and delivered new products, with different types of application, always with high quality control and personalized technical follow-up.
Today, we are a company in the polymeric materials sector, in a growth phase, that develops new and revolutionary thermoplastic elastomers. For years to come, we will be a world-class, innovative chemical company admired by employees and respected by the community.
